Company of the Year Award (Social Responsibility Excellence) – Lexis Hotel Group
Known for its longstanding commitment to help out underprivileged groups in the country through numerous community engagement initiatives, Lexis Hotel Group was awarded Company of the Year: Social Responsibility Excellence at the CSR Malaysia Awards 2019 held on July 11 at Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur. The award is in recognition of the Group’s various CSR initiatives which benefited underprivileged communities including the elderly, the disabled, orphans and neglected children.
Lexis Hotel Group is also a huge proponent of environmental conservation as proven by its dedication in promoting and adopting responsible environmental practices. Some of the notable contributions of the Group include organizing charity buffets with local celebrities for cancer survivors and International Coastal Clean-up 2018 where 500 volunteers collected hundreds of kilograms of thrash from the surrounding beaches. The annual CSR Malaysia Awards honours public-listed companies for their corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts to promote sustainable economies through helping marginalised communities and making environmental efforts to preserve Malaysia’s heritage for our future generations.
