Diplomacy by the Sea: ASEAN Leaders Convene at Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson

From September 9 to 12, 2025, Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson proudly hosted the ASEAN Senior Ofcials’ Meeting (SOM) as part of Malaysia’s preparations for the 47th ASEAN Summit. Held primarily in the resort’s Grand Ballroom, the meeting gathered ASEAN SOM Leaders, the Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for the Political-Security Community, and Timor-Leste as an observer to discuss regional cooperation and ASEAN-led initiatives.

In recognition of its exceptional MICE facilities and service standards, the resort was also honoured with the ASEAN MICE Venue Standard Award, underscoring its position as a leading destination for high-level meetings, conferences and international events.
