Dato’ Prof. Mandy Chew Siok Cheng, President of Lexis Hotel Group was honoured with the World Outstanding Women Entrepreneur Excellence Award at the World Women Economic and Business Summit 2026, held at Shangri-La Rasa Sayang Hotel on 15 June 2026. The prestigious recognition celebrates her outstanding contributions to entrepreneurship, leadership and business excellence.
Organised by the KSI Strategic Institute for Asia Pacific, the summit was themed “Women Shaping the Next Economy: Innovation, Resilience and Inclusive Growth” and brought together approximately 200 business leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers and industry experts from across the region. The event served as a platform for meaningful discussions on the critical women play in driving innovation, strengthening economic resilience and fostering sustainable and inclusive growth.
The summit was attended by a distinguished lineup of leaders and dignitaries, including Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow, KSI Strategic Institute for Asia Pacific President Tan Sri Michael Yeoh, Deputy Chairman Datuk Seri Mohd Iqbal Rawther, former State Executive Councillor Chong Eng, diplomats, consul generals and prominent figures from the business community.
