Lexis Suites Penang Joins 15,000 Starwalkers!

The staff of Lexis Suites Penang showed up at the scenic Gurney Drive on a Sunday morning, all cladded in turquoise and ready to burn off some calories alongside 15,000 other participants in this year’s Starwalk Penang! Flagged off by Penang Yang Di-Pertua Negeri Tun Abdul Rahman Abbas, all the participants completed the 7-kilometer walk in unison for a great cause—promoting an active and healthy lifestyle. The event had previously earned a spot in Malaysia Book of Records for “Largest Participation in a Fun Walk Event” when it attracted close to 21,000 participants in the year 2017. Although this year’s event was postponed for almost a month from the initial scheduled date due to the haze conditions, it did not deter all the contestants from walking together in high spirit.
